Joanne F. Harbaugh, 72, of Harrietta, MI and formerly of Ida, MI, died Monday, October 10, 2016. Born July 4, 1944, in Toledo, OH, she was the daughter of Loren and Nelita (Pickard) Nelson. She married Douglas T. Harbaugh on August 25, 1961, in Monroe, MI. Joanne was employed as a bus driver for Bedford Public Schools for 10 years. She enjoyed needle point, her dog, Cloe, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Joanne is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Douglas; children, Dale, Scott (Susan), Tom (Tammy), Gary Harbaugh; brothers, Loren, Ronald, Randy and Jeff Nelson; sisters, Judy Neff, Sandy Kubitz, Gloria Young, Pattie Rieneke and Sue Stevenson, 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her, parents, son, Douglas Harbaugh, Jr. and brother, Rick Nelson.
Visitation will be from 3-8 pm, Sunday, October 16, 2016, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, October 17, 2016. Interment will follow at Bedford Memorial Gardens.
